IT Technical Support Specialist(Healthcare Imaging Systems)

Brainreader, Inc. is a healthcare technology company focused on advanced neuroimaging solutions and AI-powered radiology software. We work closely with hospitals, imaging centers, radiologists, and healthcare organizations to support imaging workflows and clinical operations across the United States.
We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Support Specialist with healthcare IT and imaging systems experience to support remote customer onboarding, technical support, PACS integrations, and system troubleshooting activities for our growing customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support for hospitals and imaging center customers
- Assist with onboarding and deployment of PACS and healthcare imaging systems
- Support configuration and troubleshooting of DICOM and HL7 integrations
- Assist with installation and configuration of applications on Windows and Linux server environments
- Troubleshoot server, networking, VPN, firewall, and connectivity-related issues
- Support customer testing, QA validation, and go-live activities
- Assist radiology and clinical teams with workflow and technical support needs
- Perform ongoing system maintenance, software updates, and troubleshooting
- Document technical issues, support activities, and system configurations
- Provide end-user support and customer training during and after implementations
- Coordinate with internal teams and customer IT departments to resolve support requests efficiently
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Healthcare IT or technical support environments
- Experience supporting PACS, healthcare imaging systems, or healthcare applications
- Working knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals including VPNs, DNS, and firewalls
- Understanding of DICOM and HL7 standards preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and customer support skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non technical users
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple support tasks
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with PACS vendors such as Sectra, GE HealthCare, Philips, or PaxeraHealth
- Understanding of radiology workflows and imaging operations
- Experience supporting healthcare organizations remotely
- Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or virtualized server environments
Compensation
Base Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 annually
Compensation will be based on:

• Healthcare IT background
• PACS and imaging support experience
• Customer support and troubleshooting expertise
• Certifications and technical skill level
